My son grew up a Christian, and when he was 13 he was sexually molested and there were few resources at the time and my ex-husband wouldn't help figure out what to do. I found a counselor that my son went to once, but the man had no experience with this and had no one to refer me to. In college he embraced the gay lifestyle and rejected Christianity. Of course, there is more to it. I pray he would be healed from all the pain and hurt in his life and believe again. My ex husband, after 30 years of marriage, also turned from the Lord and went down a dark path that has greatly impacted the family. He was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. I pray God would turn ashes into beauty.

My two children, Austin and Hannah, were brought up in church and we are a Christian family. They are in college now and have given up on their faith. I had been praying incorrectly that God would open their hearts to attend church again, but I believe I need to prayer first for the Holy Spirit to convict and encourage them to want to have Christ as their Savior. Please pray that their hearts will remain soft and God will pour His mercy on them to keep them safe until they return back to Him.

My family is so divided and are in battle to remain in Christ. I see the confusion on my daughter’s life to even make a decision because nothing makes sense. The enemy is in so many places in our tv and social media and many people don’t even know the Bible is our best guide .
